Hi,

I'm currently testing Stash and Jira for my company, i downloaded atlassian-stash-2.1.2.tar.gz, untared, set STASH_HOME=/u/stash in set-env.sh and mkdir the directory, i got JAVA_HOME set and localhost pointing to 127.0.0.1, which are all the steps i found to workaround this issue on the web, and i'm still getting The Spring WebApplicationContext could not be started after i try to visit the url when i run start-stash.sh.

OS is Gentoo built 2 days ago, running Oracle JDK 1.7.0.15.

Any help will be appreciated.

Alejandro.

PS: The KB in https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASHKB/The+Spring+WebApplicationContext+could+not+be+started in point 2 of the resolution it should resemble 127.0.0.1 localhost. The entry there is what /etc/resolv.conf looks like when you are running a DNS server locally instead.
