I have 2 custom workflows and i realized that i had 2 statuses that where similiar, but not exactly the same. (Backlog and Back Log). One in each workflow.
I have changed the workflows so that they use the same status, but the old status remains in the workflow, but isn't connected to anything. It won't let me delete it. 2 questions for anyone that can answer:
1. Is there a way to force delete it?
2. If the status is sitting there, with no transaction connecting it to workflow, does it cause a problem?

1. You cannot delete a step of an active workflow. Create a copy of the workflow, delete it and then activate it
2. It won't cause any issues but my recommendation would be to delete it to keep a clean workflow.
