Need to be able to reset greenhopper

We purchased and installed the greenhopper plugin, and either due to have some remnants of an old demo version installed, or due to having manually create a 'Story' issue type, our greenhopper install did not perform all its setup steps, and did not receate the Story/Epic/Subtask issue types. From reading around, it looks like creating these manually won't do much in terms of GH 'knowing' about them.

Is there any way we can reinstall GH or have it recreate the various bits of static data it needs without losing the rest of JIRA data? I'm happy even with unofficial DB modifications if needed, just need to get this thing running somehow.

Hi Hani,

Unfortunately there is no way to reset GreenHopper at the moment.

Yes, you are right. If the original GH field was/were deleted and re-create it again, the field association in the database will still refer to the old field. This is not difficult to fix but require some direct database update to fix the ID association. I'd suggest you to raise a support ticket in https://support.atlassian.com and provide us with a copy of your xml backup.

Cheers, Vicky.
