Migrate from IBM Rational Change to JIRA - HowTo question.

EdDev_Gilat January 5, 2013

Hello All,

We are currently in process of evaluating the JIRA solution (after a pause) again, and are looking to see if we can migrate our existing items/CRs from IBM Rational Change to JIRA.

After reviewing the existing information on the web, it seems that there is no direct way to perform this.

The only option I managed to find is to export from the IBM tool to CSV and then to import into Jira.

I'm looking to understand if you have any experience in such a migration from your existing customers, and if we can get assistance from your side on this.

Showing this happening will give a great bust to adopt Jira in our company.

Thanks,

Edy.

Hi Edward,

As in the support case, the easier way to migrate is using CSV import.
You can refer to this documentation at :-

Do let me know if you questions or problem in the mean time.

If IBM rational change supports any remote interface you can automate out using REST for JIRA.
