Managing Dashboards

Daniel Mendes May 25, 2012

Hi,

Please, is there a way to merge the content of two dashboards into a new one?

The goal is to be able to see all tickets that relates to a certain user in a dashboard level, regardless of how many assigned projects this person has.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Daniel.

I guess it depends on what issues you are having with the gadgets. Many of the gadgets allow you to select more than one project, or you can associate more than one category (we categorize some of our projects and products and pull all of those in), or you can create a filter that combines the project data you want.

That way, your gadgets can include data across projects, as you see fit.

We have one dashboard that has a combination of data for multiple projects and then individual ones by project.

Hi Daniel,

In fact yes it is possible and it isn't difficult, many of the gadgets in the dashboard are able to show information about a filter, so you can actually create filters with all the information for a user and then use that filter in a gadget.

In my case, we are using the system dashboard for all the information corresponding to an user, and like @KKLEY we have a dashboard per project too.
