Issue Trash for JIRA 7

Hello Community,

on the Atlassian Marketplace I found the Issue Trash plugin to restore deleted issues. But the current version 1.0.4 is 3 years old and only supports JIRA server until version 6.3.15.

We are running JIRA server 7.3.0 and need such a plugin, because JIRA unfortunately does not provide a trash function in standard.

Does anybody know, if Issue Trash V 1.0.4 runs with JIRA server 7.3.0.

This widget could not be displayed.

Why not create a resolution called "Abandoned" or something similar so you can close/abandon issues and not need to delete them? It would allow you to report on what was abandoned, where you can't report on what was deleted. You can also limit other searched to not include abandoned issues.  

If you do this you can remove the Delete Issue permission from all users and there is no longer a need to delete issues and no longer a need for the add-on.
