Maybe this is a bit silly question for some of you, but i have already spent quite a lot of time and didnt figure out how to solve it.
I have few projects and few users in my Jira. Groups i am using default: jira-users, jira-developers, ...
If i want user to be able to login than i have to assign him to jira-users group, but than such user is able to see ALL defined projects, which is not allowed. I want to assigned users per project. So user who belongs to project is able to perform actions according to his role in a project (developer, tester, ....) but i dont want him to see other projects.
How can I achieve this ? Any ideas ?

Use project roles in the permission scheme and different users/groups to the roles in individual projects.
