How do I restore the default permission scheme?

Solitonman January 17, 2013

I messed up earlier while working on a demo project I created for testing, and started editing the permission scheme before I had created a copy of the default version. By the time I realized my error I'd already changed all the permissions. Is there a location that lists the default scheme so I can restore it appropriately? I did do a system backup prior to starting my work, is there some way I can retrieve the scheme from that?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Hi there,

With regards to your question, you might want to refer to the link below for the default settings of permission scheme

http://wiki.cementhorizon.com/display/CH/JIRA+Factory+Default+Settings#JIRAFactoryDefaultSettings-DefaultPermissionScheme

However you need to configured it manually to return to its original state.

I am unaware there is another method doing so. Restoring your backup will lose the progress you did from the time when you did the backup to now.

Hope this helps, cheers :)
