How do I assign issues to a Version?

I created 2 Versions within a particular project and would now like to assign certain issues within that project to one of the versions.  How do i do so?

Edit the issues and select the version you want them to be in.  If you have Agile, you can also drag them in during planning.

Note that you have both "affects version" and "fix version".
