GitHub commit displays in activity but actions aren't taken

GitHub commit displays in activity but actions aren't taken

I hooked our Agile OnDemand account to our GitHub account and enabled smart commits. The commit shows up in the activity for the issue, but it does not advance the issue, show the comment in comments, or update the remaining time.

What are some things I can try to get this working?

First ensure the syntax is correct: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Processing+JIRA+issues+with+commit+messages

As for transitioning issues, take a look at Triggers, which is a component/option in your workflow:
