Disable "adding a comment" by email reply?

Is there a way to disable Jira automatically adding a comment to the ticket that a user replies to? We want users to only put in comments through Jira because the comment coming through an email reply is formatted horribly (in our opinion)...containing header info, full url links, etc.

We simply just want to disable the comments part coming from email. Or return an error if replying email...either way is satisfactory.

Adding comments from emails is related to JIRA Handlers. If you want to completly disable it then just remove or use a different handler.
