OpsGenie - JIRA outgoing automation processing

Hello Team, I want to confirm something within the OpsGenie - Jira Cloud integration.

I want to confirm whether the integrations' Outgoing Automation Rules are all evaluated or if evaluation stops once it finds a match (the behavior I'm experiencing points at the latter).

I have two outgoing integrations for "if alert closes". First one for a comment, and the second one to mark as done.  But it never actually marks the ticket done.  I've confirmed that the issues can transition to Done.  Can anyone confirm if my suspicions that the second "if alert closes" is not being evaluated?   If so, any workaround suggestions?

Hello @Rosa M Fossi

Thank you for contacting Atlassian Community!

Your understanding is valid with Opsgenie-Jira integration's outgoing automation rules. From the settings screenshot you shared if the first condition to add comment on Jira ticket is applied when Opsgenie alert is closed then the condition will stop and will not proceed further with next action. This is a know limitation and we do have a feature request open with our engineering team. OPSGENIE-2346 is the ticket ID for your reference. You can further vote/comment/follow on the FR accordingly. You can follow the URL to further understand the feature implementation policy.

The current workaround option is to use the Jira automations to perform additional actions on Jira tickets for Opsgenie alert actions.

I hope the details provided are helpful. Thank you for your time and consideration.
