We have been using Bitbucket for a long time now, but are exploring the possibilities of Github.
I have linked our Github account with Jira using the new plugin.
I have also added the repo to the project using the `add item` button.
When I create an issue and I click `+ create branch`, it still links to bitbucket. I want this button to link to Github. How can I make this happen?
Sorry George, to be honest I miss-read your original question and I am not sure about the solution to your problem. This feature is only available for Bitbucket integrations, so this is why you are redirect to it.
It's not possible to create a github branch from an issue in Jira for now.
You can try an add-on, like the one @Robert_Higgins mentioned in order to achieve what you want.
