How to create issue type (type) from project type (next-gen software)

dear team,

my team has recently created a new project type (next-gen software). However, we  noticed that as an administrator we are not able to create issue type (Test). May i check if this is expected from next gen software or that the project has to be created as project type (Classic Software) to utilise more features from Zephyr plugins

Currently, next-gen projects don’t support the issue type Test from Zephyr. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

• Next-gen project template does not support Zephyr Test issue type
