why there's no ComponentAccessor in 4.1 JIRA Java API?

I need to use groovy runner and to get customField.

In 6.x JIRA,  solution is -

import com.atlassian.jira.issue.Issue
import com.atlassian.jira.issue.CustomFieldManager
import com.atlassian.jira.issue.fields.CustomField
import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor

CustomFieldManager customFieldManager = ComponentAccessor.getCustomFieldManager()
CustomField dscCF1 = customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObjectByName("Feature")

But I have a very old JIRA server (4.1.1), I didn't find ComponentAccessor in 4.1 JIRA APIs.

How can I get the customFieldManager in such case?

You will need to use ComponentManager for the earlier JIRA versions.
