unable to close the bug issue type ticket.

We tried closing the tickets and the page is just freezing and the ticket is not getting closed.

Below are the troubleshooting steps we followed

1) Done project re-indexing
2) Tried moving the tickets into the Closed column in their scrum boards.
3) Checked user role to make sure we have enough access to close the tickets
4) Checked field configuration scheme to confirm there are no mandatory fields.

There is no luck even after trying the above steps.

We found a behavior associated with this project and wondering this could be the root cause of this issue.

Hi Ravi,

Can you please check if this is happening to with all bug issues or with only some bug issues. if it's for all the bug then there should be some config which is affecting to close the issue.

You mention you have behavior that could cause this can you try disabling that and try of you able to close the bug.

Can check is this happening on any particular transition like review to close or in-progress to close to narrow down the issue.

Also, can you check if there is any automation rule for bug issue that reopening this bug and check when you transition the issue to close status anything gets log in Jira history tab.

Last thing you can also check in browser developer mode on while transitioning issue to close status if you see any java script related error or any other details you get from their.
