JIRA 7.0+

Steps to reproduce:

1. Change username for user

2. Try to choose this user as component lead

This bug is not resolved by Atlassian: 1 2 3 4

The reason of this error is mismatch between user_key and user_name in JIRA database. You can change user_name but user_key is unchangeable from UI.

You should use workaround from bugs.
