migration/hosting switch

Ashima Bhatia June 18, 2024

Hi team,

We're planning to host Jira and confluence data centers.

Kindly share relevant documentation which supports Jira and confluence hosting on AWS, Azure and GCP.

Kindly suggest which hosting would be better, where we will have Atlassian support as well, in case of any issues.

Thanks

Ashima Bhatia

Hi @Ashima Bhatia You can check the below documents for installing Jira Datacenter on the AWS, Azure, I didn't found the one for Google cloud but as these cloud hosting platforms are more or less have similar features for basic services for VMs, Database, Storage, Load Balancer, etc so you can check these to decide which hosting platform you want to get started with.

AWS is popular hosting platform so you can start with it, you can check the EC2, RDS, EFS, Application Load Balancer, etc services that are essential for the Jira Datacenter installation.
