After the change from status icons to lozenges I am no longer able to change the (custom) icons, however the icons are still displayed in the issue transitions screens (so why remove the option to edit the icons?).

After a server migration not all icons have been copied to the new server and now a couple of statuses show an empty/missing icon. They are resolving to non-existing thumbnails "/secure/thumbnail/53444/_thumb_53444.png" on the server.

What is the easiest way to restore the original custom icon for these statuses?

Icons are not in the transition screen in the latest JIRA versions. What version of JIRA is yours? Maybe it was fixed later.

This is not JIRA. It comes from the JIRA Suite Utilities plugin. You might want to report it to the plugin developer.
