how to write macros in confluence to get selected info from Jira stories?

Siddesh Dhananjaya September 14, 2022
Any idea on how to update consumer details (name and email) in confluence page (extracted from story) once the story is closed. [  not looking to track status of JIRA story]

Hi Siddesh,

If you are using Jira issue/filter macro then it might become very easy job. You just need to create one simple filter and apply on this macro. You may create a filter as below and select the required field to display (fields where the consumer details are stored).

project = "project name" AND issuetype = Story AND status = Closed

You can add/remove the fields as per your requirement and choose the field and values as per your instance.

Note: It is always good to create the filter in Jira first before applying it in Confluence.

I hope the above will help you in resolving your problem.
