Hello @Adrian Gonzalez

Epics also have a secondary status field named "Epic Status" which may not be visible on the issue view for the Epics.

When that field is set to Done, the Epics will not show in the Epics panel.

That field can be set to Done using the Mark as Done option from the Epics panel.

When using the filter to view the Epics change the results display to List View and add the "Epic Status" field to the columns display to see what that value is for each Epic.

Since the field is not usually displayed in the issue details for Epics, changing its value can be a challenge. Your Jira Admins can adde the field to the issue View screen temporarily to allow the value to be reset, then remove the field again.

In my environments I made it a policy to use a custom workflow for Epic issues types, and to automatically set the "Epic Status" field appropriately with each normal Status transition for the Epics. That way the end users didn't have to worry about doing it manually.
