blink/flash browser window on user Mention

Hello all,

The @Mention feature in Jira is greate and we use it alot, But it lacks a mechanism to alert the mentioned user in Jira itself, without forcing him to check his inbox.

Does anybody have an idea how to accomplish this? Is it possible?

Hi Ronen,

Maybe not exactly what you are looking for but a few folks on my team have set up a filter and dropped it on their own dashboard to track any mentions. Saves them going to their inbox.

Thanks. That's an idea although i hoped there would be something that could grab their attention.
