Work load of an employee in jira tempo folio?

Chaitanya Thota
July 20, 2015

I am currently using portfolio in jira. In portfolio we can get workload of a team member in a given plan.

But if a person is in two teams. Each team is in different plans. Workload of person is not summable that is they are independent of each other. So person is allocated twice his capacity to work. So I want to change from portfolio to others like tempo folio.

I want to know whether tempo folio maintains complete list of people while calculating workload or it calculate as per teams as in portfolio.?

Thank you in advance

Hi Chaitanya,

In Tempo Folio you can define a portfolio (via the manage folio screen) that will encapsulate multiple folios (or plans). It will allow you to see the aggregate workload of users across multiple plans. Of course, Tempo Folio will let you know if the JIRA user is "Over allocated" or even "Overloaded" across these plans.

I hope this answers your question.
