Will changing your jira email address automatically update your jira tickets

I migrating from hosted jira to cloud jira, These users have existing tickets etc...

 

Can change my email address and will my old tickets be automatically be updated to my new email address?

Probably not, but it depends on what email address you are looking at.  Are you literally storing an email address in a field on the issues?  Or do you mean something else?
