Why when I enter user story/issue status as "Impediment" - Done appears?

Why when I enter user story/issue status as "Impediment" - Done appears?  Please see screenshot, and see upper right side, next to status "Impediment" the Done icon and check mark.  Also the Impediment shows to be marked out with line through story number, and looks like it is Done but the issue/story is not.

Done in this case is a resolution, so your workflow has a post function that will set that field for you when the issue is moved to the status Impediment.

Please share steps to correcting the Impediment as a blocker and NOT Done.

To modify the post function you need to go to the Project > Project Settings > Workflow and select to edit the workflow. From here, select the transition that takes the issue to Impediment, then click on Post Function and here you should see an entry that sets Resolution to Done which you can modify. Please note that you need to have at least project admin permissions in order to change the workflow. You can find more information about Post Functions here, Advanced workflow configuration.
