Why failed login count not updating for some users

Hi,

We have jira version 6 and sometimes some users can't login, and what's wierd - jira user management does not show failed logins for them - it just tells that last login was a week ago or so. 

Checked that correct username and jira instance was used. There is also error in jira LOG file about failed login.

What could be the cause of "failed login count" not updating?

Same here. We just upgraded to 8.5.8 and suddenly its occurring for us. Never failed in our old Jira-Server 7.10.2 version.

Any ideas anymore?
