Why cant integrate BitBucket server with jira by using DVCS accounts ??

Hi,

 

Can you give me explanantion why cant we use  DVCS account for integrating the bitbucket server with JIRA server. What is exactly DVCS accounts for..?? is it for only web hosted source version control management  ?? what is difference between Application links and DVCS accounts in JIRA ??

Yes, "DVCS accounts" settings are only for connecting to cloud based hosting accounts. You can think of it as equivalent to application links for the purpose of the developer status integrations that both enable. However, the technologies used are different, and application links are used for a wider range of purposes. Application links are the way to go for connecting to Bitbucket Server.
