Why I can't import Time Tracking values from CSV @ Jira 8.0?

Hi!

 

I am trying to import CSV file using Import Wizard. The CSV has following structure:

Issue Type, Epic Name, Summary, Original Estimate 

 For some reason I am unable to map Original Estimate (calculated in seconds) to the column in CSV, the only avalible options are listed below.

How do I import Time Tracking to Jira 8.0?

Hello,

There are two CSV import options, One is a limited Bulk Create Option (covered in "Creating issues using the CSV importer") the other is  the external system Import option (covered in "Importing data from CSV").  However reviewing the Documentation I noticed there are some inconsistencies causing some confusion here and I created the following BUG Report to get the article updated and correct these details and provide some additional clarification on the differences between these options:

It looks like you are using the Bulk Create issues from CSV option located at "Issues and Filters >> Search issues >> three dot elipse drop down >> Import issues from CSV", this option is intended for quickly creating new issues and can be done without admin permissions therefore limiting some of the available fields.

The alternate is the External System Import CSV option located at "Jira Settings >> System >> IMPORT AND EXPORT >> External System Import >>CSV" Under this import method the Estimate fields are available, as covered in this Documentation, this is intended for data migrations and has all available fields but does require Admin permissions to import in this method.
