When we use edit button on a Jira ticket and then save changes, all fields included

When we use the edit button on a service request and then save it.  All fields possible display on form instead of just the ones selected for that form.  What is causing this?

Hi Teresa,

Only the fields associated with the Edit screen for the Project and Issue Type should be available for editing, though more fields from the View screen might also be displayed. But only the fields on the Edit screen can be edited.
