Safari is a supported browser for Cloud sites. You can find more information on the documentation below:

I tested on my local site using Version 14.0 (15610.1.28.1.9, 15610) and I was able to paste images. 

Can you please give us more details about the issue that you are facing?

Does it show any error when pasting an image?

Does it work if you upload a new image instead of pasting it?
