What is the reason for the update the Original estimate

Hi, everyone,

I noticed the following situation in one of Story at night or early in the morning the Original estimate was increased on my behalf.

Screenshot 2023-03-25 at 16.28.23.png

I changed the Original estimate, but it increased again

Screenshot 2023-03-25 at 16.30.20.pngScreenshot 2023-03-25 at 16.29.05.png

I checked the values of the estimates of the child issues, but they do not have such large values.

This is the first and only case among many issues, and this has never happened before.

I would be very grateful for your help or a hint on where to look for the cause.

Hi,

I may have to do with an add-on. Do you have any add-ons in place?

See this post if you have a similar issue:

Hi, @Benjamin

Thank you for directing the search for the cause. I think I found the cause and how to fix it - see the screenshot below.

I'll see what happens tonight and let you know the results.

Awesome. Glad you narrow down the possible cause!

Hi, @Benjamin

All these days, I tried to fix the problem but could not.

I can manage the Original Estimate in Big Picture.

But after changes, the Original Estimate in Big Picture does not automatically change the Original Estimate in Jira.

I manually changed the original estimate in Jira, but Big Picture automatically returned it to its original value.

Big Picture settings are as follows

I'm glad to hear any thoughts on where to look for the cause.

Who does the issue history name as the person who changed the estimate?

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-

Thank you very much for responding and asking your question.
The answer to your question is in the screenshot below.

Please read my answer to @Benjamin; I think I found the cause and how to fix it.
