What is Version Sync used for ?

Hi,

Our company recently purchased Version Sync App to sync and use/manage Fix Version across multiple projects.

The scenario we want to use Version Sync is in :

Project A and Project B has a same release date and has some dependency on each other.

We used to create same named fix version and dates across both the projects. I.e decided to use version sync and manage all of it in project A.

We use a Agile Scrum Board which filters tickets from both Project A and Project B. I would expect only one list of Fix Version to appear on the left hand tab for both the projects as they are synced.

However this is not the case - we see 2 sets of same fix version in the Version Tab even after they are synced.

Can someone please calrify what is the expected behavior ? This currently doesnt solve the problem we purchased the tool for.

Were you ever able to figure this out?

I am using a demo version and saw the same thing. I did make a quick filter to be able to see all (and only) the Issues for a specific release across the multiple linked projects.
