Greetings,

We have a project key AB2. We moved all items from AB2 project into AB project.

The old links redirects for AB2 project are important as they posted throughout Slack and other JIRA issues. Will the redirect links for the moved items still work once the AB2 project is moved to the Trash then permanently deleted?

In other words, if

http://companyname.attlasian.net/browse/AB2-123

currently redirects to

http://companyname.attlasian.net/browse/AB-345

will it continue to redirect properly after we delete the AB2 project?

Thanks a lot!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The "changed link" data is not dependent on the project.  (If you look in the database, you'll find a simple table with two columns - one contains the text of an issue key, like AB2-123 and the other is the issue id in the database - the number that doesn't change when you move an issue)

So yes, the redirection will continue to work.
