What happens after domain verification?

Hey all together,

I have implemented a help desk and now I am about to verify the domain of our customers (students) which is provided by us. Now I am asking myself: will there be an invitation mail to jira to all emails with that domain after verification?

We want to make a kind of shadowed go live, so it would be great if they don't get invited but can access via a link we send them seperately.

Hi @Manuel Möser , welcome to the Community!

Simply verifying a domain will not send out an email to users on that domain.

Once it is verified however, you may want to claim accounts on that domain in order to enforce security policies. Once you do that, users who you've claimed will see that their accounts are managed if they visit their profiles. More details about what you can do when you claim accounts is in that linked document.
