I am a PM working in a client's account. Is there a file size limit for uploading files as a comment? I have tried zipping files and re-uploading, however I am not getting an error message/indication of the issue.

Hey @Georgia Compton

Jira Server:
The default (per file) is 10485760 bytes (10 MB). The maximum attachment size (per file) is 2147483647 bytes (2 GB).

Jira Cloud:
The default (per file) is 1 GB. The maximum attachment size (per file) is 2 GB.

For more info:
Configuring file attachments

I'd recommend contacting your local Jira admin to confirm exact limits and investigate the issue

@Georgia Compton  Your JIra admin can check the  limit size,  and let you know. If you run your instance via a reverse proxy, for instance nginx(Attachment limit can be set in the configuration) so  Jira will use the setting  in this configuration.  You can read more on setting the limit here  Attachment Limit

Kind  regards,

Moses.
