What about attachments when deleting projects?

Hi,

I am using Jira Software Server

I would like to know what is the behaviour concerning attachments when deleting a project in Jira? Are they kept in data directory? Or are they deleted? I did not find any clear information about this.

Hi @Camille Lecerf ,

When you delete the project, it results in the deletion of the attachments in /jira/data/attachments for that project. Note that you still be able to see the folders for the deleted project in the attachments directory.  You can verify the same by deleting in the test instance and the ideal way would be to create a backup before project deletion.
