Using Story Maps with Hierachy

Daniel Supersonic April 26, 2022

Hi,

when activating the Hierarchy in Jiras Story Map, I picked User Story and as relationship "is caused by". Now in the Story Map View a lot of unrelated User Stories show up as the upper level of the Backbone, even though they don't have any connection to the other stories, especially not the link type "is caused by". How can I get rid of the User Stories on the very first line (the backbone). It makes the Story Map extremely wide.

Cheers

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

If you are referring to Easy Agile User Story Maps for Jira, you can use the Filters button in the Story Map header to hide any unlinked issues from the hierarchy layer.

Hope this helps.

That did the trick, thanks a lot!

When I activated the Hierarchy again, this time the "Show unlinked story" was de-selected by default and then my backbone looked as desired.

Thank you very much!
