Use JMWE to force page refresh?

Hello,

I read that JMWE allows for automations outside of the normal Jira limitations, but I'm not finding any indication as to whether you can use it to force a page refresh.  Anybody know?

To summarize the objective:

I have an automation to close a ticket and that automation updates a few fields in the ticket at the same time.  I want the user to be able to see the updated field data without having to push F5.

I know that native Jira automations can't force a refresh, but am wondering if JMWE can do so.

Thanks

Hi Todd,

JMWE automatically refreshes the issue to show changes made by JMWE post functions. However, it doesn't work in all cases. For example, it doesn't work on agile boards, but it works on issue views.

Thanks for the clarification, David.  One of my biggest frustrations with Jira is that the page doesn't refresh when automations are run on an open ticket.
