Hello,

I am generally using subtasks in Jira but in a specific project, the option "add subtasks" does not show up.

I have already added subtask-issue types to the issue type scheme and the corresponding workflow to the workflow scheme of the project.

Do I have to enable subtask for this specific project? And how?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Solved. Issue status was the problem.

Hi @Lydia

I assume sub-tasks are globally on as there are projects using sub-tasks. (Jira Settings > Issues > Issue Types >Sub-tasks)

Ensure that sub-task issue type is already included for that project (you don't have sub-task option) under Jira Settings > Issues > Issue Types > Issue types)
