Unable to change issue type.

Hi Folks,

I am completely new to Jira/ JSM. I created a service management project and defined custom workflows for L1, L2 and Improvement/ New Feature tickets and created a workflow scheme to use it for future Service Management projects and I am using this scheme in this project.  I classified issue types as L1, L2 as such and assigned them to the workflow to be followed.

Until last week, I was able to change the issue type to the appropriate issue type after the ticket had been raised. But when I am trying to change the issue type now it is saying "You cannot edit this issue type in this project".

Can someone please help me in tracing back why this has happened? Please help me in resolving this issue. image.png

This suggests that your admins have places restrictions on the workflow, or that the project does not have issue types that you can move the current issue to (either because there are no other types at the same level, or because the others are configured to use different workflows or fields)
