Hi,
We have u customer which uses Jira Cloud and have the "transitions"-tab on each Jira issue, showing how much time the issue spent in each status.
In our cloud instance this tab is missing, and when i Google it, it says we need the Jira Suite Utilities plugin, which is only available for server.
Is that correct? If so, does that mean that the plugin was previously available for cloud, but not anymore, and that exisisting customers with it are just lucky they installed it before it was made unavailble?
Thanks in advance
JIRA Cloud does not currently have Transition Tab. There is suggestion under consideration with Atlassian.

While we await the implementation of this enhancement, users can leverage a free cloud app, Time in Status - Issue Status Insight, which displays the transition history directly in the issue panel and provides insights on the total and average time spent in each status. This can serve as a helpful workaround in the meantime.
People have noticed unusual behaviour around this functionality in cloud. Basically, earlier Jira Suite utilites plugin was required to be installed for the transition tab to be visible. But now the plugin is no longer part of the default cloud plugins. The cloud instance which I have access to does display the transitions tab on the issue view screen. Upon delving further into this issue I realised that I dont' have the JSU plugin installed on the cloud but the transitions tab feature is coming from a system plugin.
Please see the screenshot attached.

Hi! I reached out to both Atlassian and the JSU team who created this plugin. The short story:
- For Jira server - the JSU plugin is needed
- For Jira cloud, this plugin is included and part of Jira, but are being discontinued. Atlassian are working on a new feature that will replace this one, and it is said it will have a "similar feature", but no more info in known about what it is or when it will be launched.
The atlassian support team actually enabled the feature on our account, of course without any promise of it being kept on.
