Hi everyone!
I'm exploring ActivityTimeline plugin for Jira and I'm curious to know - does anyone have any experience with this plugin's time tracking functionality?
I saw the time tracker on work page. The system automatically can fill in the hours up to 8 hours and more. But I need to review all overtimes. How can I check them?
I'd really appreciate any insight!
Hi @Leroy Ogden
In ActivityTimeline you can choose several options here:
- enable the limitation of the maximum allowed worklog hours per day: Administration > Timesheets Configuration > Limitation of maximum allowed worklog hours per day > Enable.
The user will get the notification that the Time spent is larger than the estimated time and will not be able to to log time.
- or you can enable the requirement of approving each work log record: Administration > Timesheets Configuration > Approval workflow in Timesheets > Enable.
In Timesheets you can review and approve all worklogs:
- to tack the overtimes in Reports you need to follow: Reports > Other reports > Leave & Event Reports > Events:
If you have any additional requirements please feel free to ask me. We can provide a demo session for you if needed.
Best, Nataliya, ActivityTimeline Team
