TestRail Jira Integration

Hi,

I am seeking advice on TestRail to Jira integration. I have the basic functionality working.

My issues is. I have a user story created within Jira. I have created a test case within TestRail which references Jira user story. I create a pushed defect from the test case which has the user story jira number in the reference field.

When I created the pushed defect within TestRail the defect is not linked to the user story or the jira defect.

I need for the defect to be linked to the user story and also when I select the user story in Jira for it to see the defect as a blocker.

Hi - I am also not able to link the Push defect to a user story in JIRA. Has anyone been able to do this? Thanks

@Shanu Mandot Hi, we have the same issue and I was looking for an answer.

Is there a better way of TestRail integration with Jira? Can we see associated bug under linked issues for User story and vice versa?

@Alex Dhesi Thanks for your post. Are you still facing this issue or you were able to proceed further ?

Looking forward to your findings !
