Sync between parent issue and linked issue (to be completed with)

Please advise if there is a possibility to sync parent issue actions with linked issues (linked as "should be closed in parallel" or maybe somehow else?)
We have issues created in JSM, and would like to assign those to developers, who are not a part of JSM but JS.
Thus, as a workaround we decided to create an issue in JS, assign it to the developer, and link JSM issue to it.
Both are of BUG type, have the same workflow.
Since the developer will work on JS and parent issues, is there a possibility to sync actions in between parent and linked issues? In terms of statuses progress?

Hi Averik,

Here is an example of how to configure it using automation for Jira: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library/sync-work

In your case instead of selecting "issue in epic" you will use "linked issues" and the selected link type.
