Subtask available for only one issue

Hello,

I have 2 subtasks type S1 and S2. S1 should be available for all issues in my project, but S2 needs to be used for only one issue.

Since both subtasks are in the list, most of the time the users select the 'wrong one'.

The reason we have 2 types is the different workflows.

Does anyone have any idea how to have different workflows for one issue type (subtask), in the same project, for the same user?

 Thank you for your ideas!

p.s. we have Scriptrunner, and Jira DC :)

Hi @Anca Cristescu

One option is to use Script Runner's behaviours feature.

Restrict Sub-task options based on parent issue type

There was also an open ticket JRASERVER-7990. You can see the recommend apps in 'current status' section.

Hi @Anca Cristescu

Rename the issue type names of Sub-tasks to be more intuitive to users.

Hope it helps,

Thanks,
