I need to set a request type so that emails can be sent to customers on issue type "subtask" how do i do this? Nothing is available, and i cant add an issue type as a subtask as far as i can see...
The issue is that watchers and other customer portal users will not get notified unless i populate the request type, but there is nothing to populate it with! how do i create something i can use to populate request type? or it could take it from the parent... that would be fine too
subtasks can't be mapped to request type/used to communicate with customers as of now, as stated in this documentation:

but yes. ahh of course its a feature request! oh well. thanks for the confirmation / infos. i didnt see any post about it on the forums. I think we just wont use them for customer stuff.
