Standard fields on project types

Jon Eriksen November 16, 2015

I discovered, that Timetracking is not default in Scrum Issue Type Scheme used in Scrum software development projects.

It is though default in Software Development Issue Type Scheme used in Basic software development projects.

I included Timetracking in different screens in my scrum projects, but it does not show up on my boards.

In a Basic software development project I can create a scrum booard, and all is good.

I therefore need to either change project type for my scrum projects or move issues to another project. The second option is failing.

Any suggestions? Best practice? Using JIRA 7 Cloud.

If you are not using story points, you can go to Board -> Configure and in the Estimation area you can turn time tracking on.  And if you are not using story points change it to Original time estimate.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
