When I got on Jira this morning a popup appears on all pages, and renders the site useless. It happens across browsers and I obviously tried cleaning my cookies and site data.

This was helpful, disable any cookie/ads/no-consent addon. click on only necessary or Accept all cookies option from Atlassian about cookies. re-enable your add-on.

Hi,
We had a pair of statuspage updates around this in
Both of these are in relation to either Brave browser or ad-blocking extensions in browser changing to block necessary elements by default. The official response has been to suggest that users only use browsers that are on our supported browser list. While that would technically prevent this behavior, it doesn't explain why it happens.
That said, @Jose Storopoli 's answer https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Re-Something-went-wrong-on-our-end/qaq-p/2832496/comment-id/1057276#M1057276
seems to capture a good work-around for Brave and adblockers to at least disable the adblocking on your Atlassian Cloud site long enough to at least accept/choose the level of cookies you want for your account. Once your session has the necessary cookies, that should prevent this particular error from happening to begin with.
I hope this helps.
Andy

Hi @Anders Busk , thanks for your question and I'm sorry you're experiencing this.
A good site to bookmark is this one https://status.atlassian.com/ just in case there are any issues in Jira / at the platform level.
I will escalate this question to Atlassian to see if they can help.
Cheers

Same issue, but using chrome or edge without any extension / ad blocker, etc.
And it only happens when I use a shared wifi connexion from my smartphone.

If you are seeing this on Brave, turning off shields, accepting 'only necessary' cookies in the consent banner and turning shields back on seemed to have worked for me.

As someone who also uses Brave, this solved this issue for me.

I am seeing multiple people report this. They might have introduced a bug.
I am encouraging others to open a support ticket also.
