See status of issue in external tenant in our issues

Hi,

we get service requests from our employees and sometime we have to transfer them to our service provider who is also using Jira service Management.

Now we link both service requests with a web link. The user in our system hat the same Atlassian account. What permissions are necessary to see the status of the external request in out own service request?

The user has the customer role.

Hi @Gerrit Wahlers

In order to see the status of an the request linked through a web link, you need to ensure that the user has the necessary permissions to view the linked request in the external JSM project. The user needs to be added as a participant or be the reporter for the external service request. Other than that, I don't think it is possible without the help of an app.
