See issue dependencies in backlog view; can it be done?

Hi all,

Hoping to get feedback from fellow Jira enthusiasts. :)

Is there a way to show issue dependencies in the backlog without having to open the individual issue?

Have had several facepalm instances where we ended up putting issues in the sprint, only to realize the issues blocking them were left behind in the backlog.

Swapping the issues in jira is no sweat; but if theres a secret sauce on how we can see those dependencies in the backlog view, that advice would be much appreciated. :)

Thanks

Hi @Raul Cesar de Leon

Backlog view - Not possible

That's where Roadmap comes into Picture!!

Or you could use JQL to track down dependencies via linked issues method

Not dependencies but you can see all the linked issues.  as long as you keep your linked issues as dependencies it will work in backlog.
